Nazaré
Nazaré is located at the edge of the Atlantic coast 10 km northwest of Alcobaça.
Famous for its fishing port, its fish merchants, its immense beaches and its Sitio district located on the cliff (accessible on foot or by funicular).
But it is also the city of surf, known around the world as the city of the biggest surf waves.

The beach of Nazaré
You will find many hotels, restaurants and souvenir shops. Many water activities are available, you can also take surf lessons.

The Church of Nossa Senhora of Nazaré
Dating from the end of the 17th century. Its interior is decorated with traditional azulejos typical of the region.
